Ingredients

50 garlic cloves, unpeeled
Water

Marinade
100 ml water
75 ml white wine vinegar
50 ml Dansukker Preservation syrup
100 ml oil
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp fresh herbs, e.g. tarragon or oregano

Instructions

Boil the unpeeled garlic cloves in water for 2 minutes. Strain off the water and rinse the garlic cloves in cold water. Peel them and put into jars. Add the herbs to the jars. Combine the water, vinegar, preservation syrup, oil, salt and herbs, bring to the boil and pour the hot liquid over the garlic cloves. Store in a cool place.
