Chocolate granola

Add a touch of luxury to your breakfast with homemade granola. Extra crunchy granola with chocolate, coconut and hazelnuts.

Ingredients

170 g rye flakes 
170 g oatmeal 
100 g pumpkin seeds 
60 g hazelnuts, coarsely chopped  
20 g cocoa powder  
6 g salt flakes
45 g Dansukker Cane Sugar 
50 ml Dansukker Light Syrup
200 ml water 
75 ml rapeseed oil 
50 g desiccated coconut

Instructions

Heat the oven to 200°C on the top and bottom heat setting.

Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl, except the coconut. Add the syrup, water and rapeseed oil and stir the mixture. Spread it out on a baking tray covered with greaseproof paper.

Cook in the oven for about 30 minutes. Stir the granola at least 3 times while it is toasting. Leave to cool in the oven with a wooden spoon holding the oven door open. Stir in the coconut.
