Ingredients

50 g butter at room temperature
250 ml milk
40 g Dansukker Dark Syrup
420 g plain flour
3 g salt
10 g baking powder

Flavouring 1
70-80 g grated cheese
1-2 g oregano

Flavouring 2
70-80 g parmesan cheese
15 g red pesto

Instructions

Prepare the dough for the twist bread at home and bring it with you in a bag. Combine all the ingredients for the twist bread in a mixing bowl. Work the dough until smooth.

If you want, add a flavouring of your choice and work the dough again until smooth. If the dough is too sticky, add a little extra flour to firm it up slightly.

Bring the dough out with you. Divide the dough into 16 pieces and roll them between your hands into lengths. Twist the lengths around sticks and cook on the barbecue.

If you prefer to bake the twist bread in the oven, twist the lengths into spirals and bake in the centre of the oven for 10-15 minutes at 200°C (with fan).
